Quality tested and certified

When you shop with us, you can rest easy knowing all our products are certified by Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX Class 1, one of the world's best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances.

Our pillows are certified by their Class 1, which includes products for babies and has the strictest requirements and limit values.

Our products are designed in Norway and made in Germany.

The inner pillow

The inner-pillow fabric is composed of 85% nylon and 15% spandex. Our pillows are filled with ultra-fine EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) microbeads, which are what give the pillow its adjustability and pressure-relieving comfort. EPS is a material with natural antibacterial and anti-fungal properties and is tested and certified per applicable standards.

To clean your inner pillow, spot clean it with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Allow it to air dry in a well-ventilated area. When it has dried, shake and fluff it to regain its shape. Do not put the inner pillow in the washing machine or dryer.

NOTE: The inner pillows are intentionally not filled to 100% to allow for adjustable firmness. Over time, the microbeads inside the pillow may slightly decompress or flatten due to the collapse of tiny air pockets, a natural process common to products using similar beads. Typically, a 5-15% decompression occurs over a year of regular use, which is one of the reasons why we provide silicon Pebbles for adjustment. Some decompression is normal and should not affect the functionality of the pillow. However, If you think your pillow has decompressed more than expected, please send us a photo of your inner pillow without the cover so we can assess its condition. The outer cover

Our pillow covers are spun from 95% cotton and 5% spandex jersey.

To clean your outer cover, wash in the washing machine at 40°C. Avoid using bleach and fabric softeners. Hang to dry; do not tumble dry.

When feeding your baby using our Nursing Pillow or Pregnancy Pillow, we recommend using a burp cloth to catch leaks and spills. While the cover is machine washable, using a cloth in addition will prevent the need for frequent washes.

The Pebbles

Our patented Pebbles are made from 100% BPA-free silicone, are free of any harmful additives. The Pebbles are dishwasher safe and can also be washed by hand with soap and warm water.

The travel bag

Every bbhugme Pregnancy Pillow and Nursing Pillow comes in a reusable fabric bag made from 100% unbleached organic cotton. With a drawstring and a handy shoulder strap, these bags are perfect for traveling with your bbhugme pillows or storing them when not in use. The bags can be machine washed at 40°C. Hang to dry.
