As a women’s health physio I decided to go straight for the bbhugme based on the great reviews I hear from my clients. While it was a fantastic pillow and serves a good purpose. I found it wasn’t for me. I turn a lot in my sleep and this pillow meant I would have to wake and bring the pillow over to each side each time. I also needed support under my bump, between my knees and behind my lower back. I felt I was forever trying to manoeuvre the pillow into shape and actually lost a lot of sleep as a result.

The quality was excellent and I can see for the right type of sleeper it would be fantastic. I was sorry to see it go back but for the price couldn’t justify it unless it worked fully.

The returns process was excellent and easy. This was great as it allowed me to try it atleast.

Pregnancy Pillow - Eucalyptus

This pillow has made my pregnancy sleep a lot better. It moulds to the shape of my body, yet is substantial enough to keep shape. Material of the cover is nice and soft too.

Pregnancy Pillow - Dusty Olive

Received my pillow today and it has arrived with the seam split and beads everywhere. Looking at the stitching at the seam, the threading seems really poor quality and it's not a suprise that it has split. Very disappointing.

Once I’ve set me pillow to the length recommended (145cm) I get about 3x nights before all the pillow filling is bunched up to such firmness that it’s pretty useless and doesn’t work as a pillow with 5touch points as advertised. Within 3x nights the length will be 75cm.
I’ve tried every which way of arranging the pillow (following the tutorial video) so that it’s stays around the 145cm length allowing me to use it properly but it never does and being 30+ weeks pregnant it’s now becoming a bit much to be rearranging the pillow back to length every few days.
Is this just a part of the bbhugme experience? Or is mine faulty?

I bought a set of pregnancy and nursing pillows when I was pregnant with my first baby. That baby is now a thriving 3.5 year old. Since the day they arrived I have used both every day. The pregnancy pillow has relieved my chronic back pain so much I have not stopped sleeping with it since. All through my second pregnancy and still now postpartum. Recently I decided to buy a second pregnancy pillow to live at my in laws house, and a third as after 4 years of use, it had compressed some. Now the original pillow lives on our living room couch, and the new one in my bed. Both are still being used daily. My kid loves building obstacle courses with them, too. Worth their weight in gold.
